Real Ride Salt Lake is the host to the ASA Am Circuit West
coast Regional Championships and my life as I know it today.
I founded Real Ride two years ago this month. When I started
this, I wanted to create something that the industries,
skaters and families would embrace. I look at everything
that has happened: the ASA Pro Tour, pro demonstrations
and all the amateur events I have produced and I realize
how lucky I am that I can see the happy faces from helping
the participants at my park create and follow dreams. Two
years ago at the grand opening contest Jamin Elbrader took
first place, now at 18 his smile still looked the same as
I handed him his gold medal. Chris Olpin and Chase Bailey
have been around since the beginning, Chris in second and
Chase in third. Having eight Real Ride team members in the
top ten, I truly am proud of what I have created for them
and what they have done for me. Its amazing what we have
all done together.
