The X Games will kick off again this August in Philadelphia

Athletes qualify to compete at the X Games according to their rankings on the ASA Professional Circuit.

Qualified athletes for 2001 X Games

Men's Criteria:

1. Top 4 2000 X Games
2. Top 3 previously unqualified from 2000 ASA World Championships
3. Top 2 previously unqualified from 2000 ASA world rankings
4. Winner 2000 European Amateur Championships
5. Top 1 from 2000 Asian X Trials (street only)
6. Top 1 previously unqualified from each of the following ASA Pro Tour events:
   (Louisville, Dallas, Bristol, Milwaukee, Rome, Barcelona)
7. Top 1 previously unqualified rookie based on the 2001 ASA rankings after Rome
8. Two wildcards
9. Remaining spots filled by previously unqualified skaters based on ASA rankings after Rome
