Dustin
Halleran written

Dustin
Halleran typifies both skating and New York. He doesn't concern himself
with dumb politics or the latest fad; he just does what he loves to
do. He has been doing it and doing it well for about 4 years, ever
since his friend Jeremy, from around the block, got him into it. As
long as Dustin has wheels on his feet, it doesn't matter whom he's
with. Dustin skates with anyone and everyone. Everyone that skates
in New York knows him, from the little park rats over at 516 to the
kids that live in the City. Dustin is known and respected by them
all. His only concern in life is to keep
skating.
He doesn't look up to, or jock anyone's style. His style is his own.
He can do it all, from going huge to hitting technical grinds. Dustin
has an amazing ability to switch up any grind. He rides for Triple
8, Transpack, Blades, and Connection (which is a NYC clothing company),
but mainly Dustin rides for himself. Dustin thinks skating has a future,
"I think its going to stay the same...people are going to quit and
people are going to start...it isn't going to die out though. I hope."
Dustin doesn't know what the future holds for him. He isn't the type
of person that plans for the future. He lives day by day and if he
keeps skating his future will be bright. Dustin would like to thank
Boschi Pope for being his dog and Ray Mendez for hooking him up.
