ASA World Championships Returns to Las Vegas!
The ASA is happy to announce that the ASA World Championships and North American Amateur Championships will return to Las Vegas this October 13-15. "Las Vegas is the perfect setting for the finals," said the ASA's Mark Shays. "After the 1998 Finals in Vegas, everyone asked us to return there again this year."
The event has been shortened to three days from the previous years' four days. This change was made so that skaters and their families don't have to miss as much school. Much of the pro vert competition will take place at night under the lights.
Circus Circus will again be the host hotel for this event. You can reach them at (800) 634-3450 Option 2. Ask for Group Code D10ASA.
The ASA will announce full event details soon on this website. We will also contact all qualified skaters directly with full details. The dates and city will not change: Las Vegas, Nevada - October 13-15, 2000. Go ahead and book your travel. Registration will be open on Thursday afternoon the 12th. The fourth annual awards banquet will be on Sunday evening, the 15th so plan to stick around on Sunday night!
Volunteer to help us during the finals! Fill out this form and we'll get in touch with you.
