The Pro Tour made a stop at the UBI open in London, England.
Accompianed by the usual screaming crowds, the vert and
street competitions went off without a scratch. Here's how
everything turned out. In Men's street, Aaron Feinberg again
made his presence known, with a first place finish. Jaren
Grob finished in a close second, and Anthony Mackie out
of Northwich, England followed in third. The rest of the
top ten went as follows. Richard Taylor finished in tenth,
with Nick Riggle taking the ninth spot. Albert Hooi and
Wilfried Rossignol took the 8th and 7th spots respectively,
while Thierry Lallemand grabbed 6th and Nicky Adams ran
away with the 5th spot. The big surprise was a 4th place
finish by Sven Boekhorst.
In Vert,
Shane Yost was able to pull off another win, followed closely
behind by Cesar Mora in 2nd and Taig Khris in 3rd. Nel Martin
out of Barcelona, Spain made a 4th place appearance and
Sven Boekhorst ended up in 5th. Manuel Billiris skated well
enough
to earn the 6th spot. Javier Bujanda also out of Barcelona
took the 7th spot, followed closely by Jaren Grob in 8th.
Frank Rodulfo and Randy Abels rounded out the top ten in
9th and 10th.
On the women's
side of things, Martina Svobodova had a strong performance
which landed her in first place, followed closely behind
by Jenny Logue in 2nd, Deborah West in 3rd and Anneke Winter
in 4th. Merce Borrull took home the gold for the women in
vert.
